On September 7th, 2018, I took to theTEDx Portsmouth stage, to share my story. It took years of living, months of writing, weeks of editing, and DAYS of memorizing to prepare me for that moment on the TEDx stage, and I have to say… it was absolutely the biggest most bravest thing I’ve ever done. I was nervous that people would dismiss me, sure that any talk about “style” would undoubtedly be petty, trite and superficial. But those fears were quickly allayed the second I stepped out on that stage. I found my voice. I found my rhythm. I found my place.

And now, just one year after being posted to YouTube, my talk has been viewed over 681K times. It’s the start of something BIG, and I can’t wait to see where this takes me.
